It has been over twenty five years since we bought our house, but we have never done any renovations. We were more worried about the mortgage than updating the look of the house, but now that we have finally paid the home off, it is time for us to change the inside. But we can’t do it all at once – we just don’t have the money.

We decided that starting out by upgrading the washing machines first. It sounded like a good starting place to me, so I didn’t complain.

I wish there just weren't so many choice – it makes it a lot harder. It looks like this is going to be more work than we had originally thought. I am thinking that I might regret this. But I guess it has to be done.
